4 frozen chicken breasts
1 cup water
Juice from 2 limes
1 tsp rosemary
1 tsp sage
1 tsp ginger
1 tablespoon minced garlic
Sea salt to taste
Black pepper to taste
Put water and chicken breasts into crock pot and add all other ingredients, sprinkling the paprika over the top at the end. Cover and cook on low for 4 1/2 hours.
Depending on how many you are feeding please adjust accordingly. I just made this tonight for myself only to test it out. Amazing!! I will make it again!
Here is what I used.
1 link of smoked sausage sliced up
1/2 of an orange pepper sliced (but use green or another variety if you wish)
1/4 of a red onion thickly diced
3 smaller stalks of celery thinly sliced
2 small pieces of fennel thinly sliced
1/2 of jalapeno diced
1 mushroom sliced
Lemon juice freshly squeezed from 1/2 of a lemon
Put skillet on stove and set the heat to medium and put in sausage
after one side is browned, put in peppers, onions, celery, fennel, and jalapenos
continue to cook until sausage is done and vegetables are almost done
add mushrooms and the juice from the lemon and continue to cook for about 3-5 minutes while continually stirring the ingredients around in the pan.
Serve and enjoy!!
